Twenty-four jobs to go at Glanbia’s Dublin office due to restructuring plans

Up to 24 full-time and contract roles will be lost from Glanbia’s Dublin office following a restructure of its performance nutrition business in Europe.
On Wednesday, Glanbia plc announced it will consolidate its logistics, planning and procurement teams within its performance nutrition business to a single site in Middlesbrough in the UK, where the group operates a manufacturing facility.
This restructure will impact 14 permanent and 10 contract roles in Glanbia’s Dublin offices. The company said the impacted employees have the option to re-locate to a new location with their role. Where this is not a preferred option, Glanbia said redeployment options within the wider company will be explored or, alternatively, employees may choose to take redundancy.

Glanbia added that its customer service, HR, finance and international teams in the performance nutrition business would continue to be based in Dublin.
