With 25 years of international experience in pharmaceuticals, Angelo’s career spans across animal health, human health and CDMO.
He has held operational, commercial and management roles at Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Aenova Group, and most recently, Adragos Pharma.
Speaking about his appointment Angelo says, “Chanelle Pharma has built an incredible brand with strong foundations and a unique positioning for ‘one-health’ which focuses on both human and animal health. I look forward to working closely with our team, leveraging strong capabilities to foster our emerging product pipeline.”
Having started in the technical side of the agriculture sector, Jason spent many years in the UK as a technical trainer for the Massey Ferguson brand where he travelled around the world instructing engineers.
Jason spent several years in Zambia where he developed the Future Farm for AGCO then moved across to Kenya to head up the business for the Seed & Grain brands across the region.
Speaking about his appointment Jason says, “It is a return to KEENAN for me after 18 years and I am thrilled to be back. I am looking forward to playing my part in shaping its future as part of the Alltech Group.”
Dr Elaine Mooney is a lecturer in the School of Home Economics at St Angela’s College, Sligo and a Home Economics and Biology graduate of the college.
She has an MSc in Food Science from UCD and a PhD from University of Ulster. Dr Mooney is also Director of the National Centre of Excellence for Home Economics at St Angela’s College.
“It is a great privilege to have been appointed to the Advisory Board of Safefood,” says Dr Mooney. “I am passionate about nutrition and healthy eating, and I intend to use my expertise in food education to assist the organisation’s important work of promoting a better understanding of healthy eating across the island.”
Having graduated from UCD in 2015, Vincent later worked in the animal nutrition company, Devenish, and Lely, Mullingar. He returned to university to study data science and worked for Intellync in Kilkenny. Moving to Zoetis, Vincent worked on projects focused on manufacturing animal pharma.
He has recently been appointed Manufacturing Science and Tech Specialist (MSAT) with Johnson & Johnson. Vincent says, “I’m excited about learning about human pharma manufacturing, how advanced and modern technologies such as GenAI are used.”
Since joining Glenisk in 2008, Emma has held a variety of roles at the Offaly company, including marketing, communications, sales, innovation and ESG, and was appointed to its board of directors in 2015. Emma has spent the last 16 years working as the commercial director.
“I am delighted to be joining the NDC at a defining moment for Irish dairy. The challenges are significant, but so too are the opportunities,” Emma says.
Joey Dillon has joined Bimeda as a sales representative for the Northeast territory, replacing Morgan Lane, who has retired. Based in Enfield, Co Meath, he graduated from Southeast Technological University with a BSc Agriculture degree in 2022.
Throughout his time at university, he worked with a progressive dairy herd. Having worked with Moocall Ltd as a technical sales advisor since 2022.
“I am looking forward to working with an experienced Bimeda sales team and supporting the loyal customer base in my territory,” Joey says of his new appointment.
