While this is an Easter egg round-up, we’d be remiss not to mention Co Wexford-based Bean and Goose’s iconic “Handsome Hare”, which is now celebrating its 10th year in extistence. The Handsome Hare (€30.50) is made using ethically-sourced cocoa and is available in a rich milk or single origin dark chocolate.

Based in Co Down, NearyNógs create stunning chocolate products using ethically-sourced cocoa beans. This Easter, they are offering a range of seasonal chocolate creations, (starting at €15.95). You can’t go wrong with their Chocolate Floral Egg; made with 60% dark Ecuadorian Hacienda Limon cacao, which has notes of caramel, cream, toffee and sweet fruits.

4. Grà Chocolate

In Co Galway, the team at Grà Chocolates offer their range of luxury hand-painted Easter eggs which come in a variety of flavours, including their Lil’ Bit Salty €74, – a giant, 70% dark chocolate thick-shelled egg with chewy caramel pieces and soft caramel fudge pieces.

In Co Monaghan, pastry chef and chocolatier Tara Gartlan is offering three Easter eggs for her 2025 selection, including this Hazelnut Rocher egg (€48). It consists of three layers of chocolate and caramelised hazelnut. The best part? All of Tara’s eggs are coeliac-friendly.
