At this year’s Ploughing, Irish manufacturer McHale will be showcasing a number of updates to its range of machinery. This kicks off with the McHale ProGlide B9000 with hydraulic width adjustment. The butterfly rear mowers now come with a hydraulic width adjustment as an optional extra, meaning the operator can hydraulically adjust the working width depending on cutting conditions.
Since last year’s National Ploughing Championships, McHale has fitted a new pickup to the F5, V6 and Fusion balers. The new features of the pickup include larger feed augers, a larger diameter rotor and a flexible floor with the option of a camless pickup.
Option
McHale has introduced the option of bale moisture content recording in the latest Fusion 3 plus model. In addition, two customisable cameras are fitted as standard on new Fusion 3 Plus machines.
These allow the operator to view the netter camera and the wrapping camera. McHale has developed a single-belt version of variable chamber machines for use in crops of silage. This full-width single endless belt is standard on all McHale Fusion Vario machines and is available as an option on all V6 variable-chamber balers.
The V6 Variable balers are fitted with a new Expert Plus control box.
The Orbital high speed wrapper has received a number of updates including increasing machine speed, the addition of work lights and external controls to aid the wrap loading process.
McHale will also be presenting the latest products from the C4 Silage Feeder and Straw Blower range.
McHale has expanded this range by adding two models to include the McHale C430 linkage machine for use in confined areas and the McHale C470, a machine with extra capacity.
