Massey Ferguson is returning to Punchestown with a jam-packed lineup of tractors and grass equipment.
Members from the full range of S Series tractors will be on display, including a 5711, 5S.135 and front loader, 6S.165 Xtra and front loader, 7S.210 VT and an 8S.265VT model.
Meanwhile, from its forage division, Massey Ferguson will showcase an RB 3130F fixed-chamber round baler and an RB 4160 V Xtra variable chamber belt baler model. A TH6030 telehandler will also be in attendance.
Other equipment includes a DM 316 TH V KC conditioner mower, a DM 255P plain disc mower, TD 776X hooked tine tedder and a RK 662 TRC twin-rotor rake.
Last but not least, the RK 762 TRC twin-rotor rake model, launched as one of six new models earlier in the year will make its first Irish show appearance.
Working width can be telescopically adjusted and ranges from 6.9m to 7.6m. Swath width can be set between 1.1m and 1.8m. Each rotor is 3.3m in diameter and is fitted with 12 tine arms.
A new speed-dependent raking height system automatically raises and lowers the machine, to maintain the optimum working height.
A standard switch box or load-sensing on the Pro models, allow individual control of the rotors. Section control is available to increase accuracy and decrease contamination by lifting and lowering rotors according to GPS position.
A new gearbox design allows all models to fold below 4m for transport.
Meanwhile, the 7S.210 sits as the flagship tractor model within the 7S lineup. It shares the same 6.6l AGCO Power engine, as does the rest of the range. With boost, maximum power tops out at 220hp. Transmission-wise, it is only offered with the Dyna-VT CVT option in Efficient or Exclusive specs.
Another highlight from Massey’s list of exhibits will be the 6S.165 Xtra, which is a new full-spec loader model, said to be on special offer. It comes with a fixed Efficient specification.
The FTMTA show takes place on 12th, 13th & 14th of November 2024 date in Punchestown from 10am to 6pm daily, with the show opened to 8pm on Wednesday.
