Good-quality Friesian calves sold to a top of €365, with calves between 60kg and 70kg selling for €280 upwards.
Lighter-type Friesian calves between 45kg and 55kg sold for €250 back to €150, with a small number of calves sold under 45kg selling for €70 to €150.
There was a small number of breeding Friesian heifer calves on offer, which sold between €200 and €215 for 35kg.
Good-quality Angus-cross bull calves weighing 50kg to 55kg sold very well topping at €430, with most selling around the €400 mark.
