United Nations PA position in New York
There is a vacancy for a personal assistant to the permanent representative at the Permanent Mission of Ireland to the UN in New York. Candidates must have at least three years of relevant professional experience at executive level (preferably within other international organisations/civil societies in New York or elsewhere). The salary scale is $852.30 gross per week paid locally and rising to $1,219.90 weekly. A significant contribution is also made towards medical insurance. The deadline for applications is 5 October.
Start-Up Stories at GMIT
GMIT will host an evening of startup stories from successful entrepreneurs, in partnership with Galway chamber, at 6.30pm on 8 October at GMIT Galway’s Innovation Hub (iHub). This is part of the Startup Gathering 2015, Ireland’s national startup week, which runs on 5-10 October. Jobs in the Civil Service
Vacancies for graduates have recently come up in the civil service. The most common entry-level graduate roles available include positions in junior management and policy analysis. It is envisioned these graduate opportunities will arise across a range of departments including the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. You must have a minimum Level 8 NFQ first or second-class honours degree. The starting salary is almost €30,000. Closing date for applications is 15 October.
