Irish farmers and their local communities are dusting off their running shoes in a bid to beat country teams from England, Scotland and Wales and raise money for Embrace Farm.
The aim is to be the first country to collectively run, walk or crawl 1,000 miles in January. Well-known farming faces Peter Hynes and Aisling Meehan are leading the Irish charge and urging others to get involved.
Well done to everyone in #teamireland who braved the elements today to add some miles for #run1000
