Four car companies had car service re-calls for repairs, registered with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, during the month of February. All the recall work should be carried out at no cost to owners.
Honda Ireland recalled about 1,000 Jazz, Civic, Accord and CRV models produced during 2003 and 2004. The recall is being carried out due to a potential problem with the passenger side air bag inflator. The airbag could deploy abnormally in a crash which could possibly lead to injury. Nissan Ireland has issued a recall of 1,432 Qashqai J10 models produced between 27 February 2012 and 16 May 2012. There is a potential problem with the steering column that could result in a loss of steering. You can also contact Nissan Ireland directly on 1850-302302.

Suzuki Ireland has issued a recall of all of its Celerio cars due to a potential problem with the brakes which could lead to a serious accident. There were 90 vehicles sold on the Irish market and all customers have been contacted. You can contact Suzuki Ireland on 01-4145191.
Volvo is recalling 212 cars produced between 2011 and 2015. These are S60, V60, XC60, V70, XC70, S80 models and the recall is due to an issue relating to the parking brake. You can contact Volvo Customer Relations team on 01 4631220.
