The iconic Taste of Dublin festival was forgone in 2020, rescheduled in reduced pod format in 2021, but this year the full shebang returns to the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin.

From 16 to 19 June, foodies can expect a city-centre haven complete with live demonstrations from top chefs, food and drink from exceptional retailers, as well as live entertainment.

For a truly decadent experience, indulge in Compass Ireland’s VIP Garden. There, you’ll be treated to a glass of champagne and bites.

The weekend kicked off on Thursday with a media launch that saw plenty of press and familiar faces getting a taste of what’s to come.

Awards

The Weir & Sons taste awards were also announced, with some of Ireland’s top food and drink taking home prizes across a range of categories.

Dingle Gin came out on top in design, with its display at the event taking home most sustainable build and second place in best dressed feature.

Restaurant Bahay was awarded best front of house. And when it came to the coveted best dish award, the top three were Los Chicanos Taqueria, Dosa Dosa, and Ramen Co.

There are limited tickets still available at tasteofdublin.ie and with good weather on the menu for this weekend, it’s well worth a trip to the Iveagh Gardens.
