Consumers are being advised not to eat any Belmont Organic Venison products by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, as they were prepared in an unsuitable and unhygienic environment.

The FSAI states that all Belmont Organic Venison products are implicated, including those sold at the National Crafts and Design Fair in the RDS from 3-7 December 2014.

The FSAI have said the products were cut, minced and wrapped in an unapproved environment which was unsuitable for the purposes of food production.
