Glanbia is launching a finance scheme for equipment for dairy farmers.

The scheme will apply to generators, feed bins, bulk tanks and milk cooling equipment.

Variable interest rates run from 2.5% for three years to 3.5% for five years.

The scheme, to be run in conjunction with the SBCI and Finance Ireland Credit Solutions DAC, will forward money to be repaid over three to five years.

Applicants do not require security, but an appropriate credit history is required.
