The double bale handler eliminates the need for placing two bales beside eachother before lifting.

Based in Co Offaly, Blue Bull Machinery manufacture agricultural grassland machinery. This year’s Ploughing Championships will have Blue Bulls latest offerings on display.
The new double bale handler from Blue Bull is fitted with a hydraulic trip and side lift. Its design eliminates the need to place two bales beside each other before lifting. A hydraulic ram allows the operator to lift one bale off the ground while loading the second. Not only is the bale being lifted, but it’s being lifted upwards and outwards at an angle, leaving more space for loading the second bale.
When tipping the bales, it’s possible to tip the bales independently instead of the traditional method of tipping two at once. This leaves the operator with more flexibility, for example, placing bales individually in fields of fodder crops. The model set to be on display is the “plus” model, featuring strobe lights, side markers/ road lights and an auto greaser.
