The Bannow and Rathangan Show began in 1949 has gone from strength to strength ever since.

The show, which has been held in many venues over the years, has been situated in Killag, Duncormick, Co Wexford, since the 1980s thanks to James and Veronica White.

Since the beginning, it has always been a popular event in the social calendar, with a host of sponsors and exhibitors present at the show proudly showcasing their products and services.

Success

Testament to the success of the show is the fantastic community spirit and involvement, alongside a dedicated committee which works tirelessly to promote and develop the show.

The show’s motto is 'A fun day out for all the family' with activities catering for all ages.

This year, the show even hosted both the junior and senior all-Ireland home cook championship.
