The 2020 Camphire International Horse Trials and Country Fair due to take place from 29 July to 2 August has been cancelled.

Organisers announced the decision last week, saying: “ Camphire is a hugely important event for the Irish equestrian community and the local economy. However, we need to prioritise the health and safety of everyone involved. We explored other ways to keep various competition elements, but the restrictions due to the Covid-19 crisis would make it impossible for us to stage the event this year.”

The event will take place from 28 July to 1 August 2021 at the Waterford venue.
