Aga Khan Cup exhibition
An RDS Library and Archive Exhibition honouring the 90-year history of the Aga Khan Cup is to be launched on 15 July and will be open to the public for six weeks until 2 September. Featuring some absolutely unique archive material that has been discovered by archivist Natasha Serne, it will also be accompanied by an audio visual presentation outlining the birth and story of this famous Cup.
Entry to the exhibition will be free except on the days of the Dublin Horse Show (20-24 July) when people will be paying for general entry to the Show.
Grand Prix win for Hanley
Mayo’s Cameron Hanley won Grand Prix in Kroneburg CSI**, Holland, on his new ride Falco Van Spieveld. Their double clear in 37.58 seconds saw them collect the winner’s prize with fellow Irish rider Ross Mullholland finishing in eight place aboard Callisto.
O’Donnell triumphs
Waterford’s Paddy O’Donnell and Minority Report won the inaugural Munster Stadium Show Jumping in Limerick Greyhound Stadium last Friday. They won the Horse Sport Ireland Grand Prix in 41.47 chased by Damien Griffin and Pamela Donaghy’s Tabby (42.33) in second and Kilkenny’s Marion Hughes with her own HHS Amazing Grace (44.26) in third.
