Carlow-based machinery manufacturer Keenan has launched a “virtual showroom” for farmers. The firm says it created the concept as a direct response to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19. The new online portal contains video overviews of machines in the company's range.

For us, and for farmers, it remains ‘business as usual

“It is imperative that our team is able to continue supporting the farming community with their new machine research and evaluation to assist in their decision-making process – even in these uncertain times.

“For us, and for farmers, it remains ‘business as usual and our objective is to keep the wheels of the industry turning as smoothly as possible. This means providing additional support wherever we can,” said James Brough, Keenan UK and Ireland general manager.

In addition to the virtual showroom, Keenan has introduced several support initiatives for farmers dealing with COVID-19 restrictions. These include offering remote valuations of trade-in machines, the introduction of a range of finance plans, as well as flexible payment options such as deferred payment into late 2020 and beyond.
