They can take part in the climate conversation on its website or they can submit to the call for expert evidence.

Under the call for expert evidence, there are a number of sections such as carbon pricing and cross-cutting issues, agriculture, land use, forestry and marine, transport and electricity.

There is also a section on a just transition.

Impact

The climate action plan is going to have a massive impact on how Irish farmers farm into the future.

It is important that all parts of the industry have their say and provide information from their real experience on the ground.

The questions in the consultation examine things like how the plan will affect different industries, as well as looking for advice on what can be done to work towards reducing emissions.

It also looks for information on supports needed to reduce targets.

It is also possible to attach additional information at the end of the submission if you feel your concerns or ideas have not been addressed in the questions provided.
