Erth Engineering will be showcasing its latest developments, including its new toolbar, aerator and its drills at this year’s event. The toolbar is available in 4m and 6m versions. The manufacturer says it is designed for low disturbance aeration in front of a combination drill. Features include hydraulic adjustment for the wings, hydraulic depth wheels, hydraulic auto reset with a pressure control system, load-sensing disc openers and a headland management system, which enables the operator to lift the pan-buster while maintaining drill setting. Erth says it has a low power requirement due to the design of the legs. The unit weighs in at 1,700kg.
Disc aerator
Erth will also present its disc aerator, which it says is TAMS-approved. Named the Aermaster, it is equipped with 5mm forge de Naux disc blades with sealed hubs. Erth said it’s designed for the relief of shallow compaction. Available in both 2.5m and 3m versions, buyers will also be able to equip it with a front grass harrow or levelling paddles.
4m Agriseeder
The firm will also exhibit its 4m folding Agriseeder. The 32-row 4m folding, galvanised unit will have 125mm row spacings, with row widths of 7mm.
Units can be fitted with front and rear harrow options, as well as double-entry coulters for fertiliser application.
The drill weighs in at 2,250kg, with the option of adding weights to the main frame for increased downward pressure.
Either mechanical or electrical seed-metering units are available. It has a 400l seed hopper fitted as standard, but larger options are available.
Erth also will show a more basic farmer spec machine.
Features on the new drill include its own in-house designed mechanical metering and an electric fan. Fully galvanized, it will come with a 300-litre hopper and an auto-contour system.
Panbuster
Erth offer three, four and five-leg variations of its Panbuster subsoiler and will be a range of displaying models at the event. Leg spacings range from 600mm up to 900mm. The unit can be specified with working widths from 2.4m up to 3m, while transport width varies from 2.35m up to 3m. The Panbuster X is the most popular. It is fitted with hydraulic auto reset, while the hydraulic pressures can be set from the cab.
The company claims to have developed a special grassland leg for the range that reduces draft requirement and maximises lift.
The toolbar is available in 4m and 6m versions.
