At this year’s Grass and Muck event, New Holland will have the FR920 Forage Cruiser forage harvester. This machine uses a V20 20L engine to produce 911hp engine. The engine produces 4,095Nm maximum torque with a 48% torque rise from 2100 to 1,500rpm. There are common engine parts from the Cursor engine family to reduce maintenance costs. The cutterhead has been redesigned to handle the increased crop flow. All feedrollers have been strengthened by increasing material thickness, new tooth profiles and larger bearings.
New Holland will also use the event to launch the T6 Dynamic Command transmission. According to New Holland the new T6.145, T6.155, T6.165 and T6.175 are the only models on the market in this segment featuring a new eight-step semi-powershift transmission. Customers looking for entry-level technology in a tractor mainly used for yard and light field work, could consider the T6 16x16 Electro CommandTM with 4-step semi powershift. Farmers requiring a multipurpose tractor for cultivations and haulage could be interested in the T6 24x24 Dynamic CommandTM. Customers who want all-round performance where exact speeds are critical might consider the award-winning T6 Auto CommandTM with continuously variable transmission.
As a celebration of the Fiat and Fiatagri brand, New Holland will also have a Fiatagri 110-90 from the 1990s and an original Fiat 702 on display which is sure to draw a large crowd.
