In the busy modern world that’s go, go, go, people often diversify and change careers.
Meath man David Cooney did just that. Initially, he had his heart set on becoming a teacher, with a huge interest and curiosity in history.
Upon completing his bachelor's degree in history and English in the University of Galway, David said he’d come home to the family business for a year, just to change things up a little.
Roll the clock forward close to a decade and David is now running the business, alongside his brother Shane.
David, who has just turned 30, offers us some insights into his daily trials and tribulations when it comes to running the business, from working long hours, to keeping workflow ahead of machines, managing staff, fixing machines and most importantly, managing relationships with customers.
