Gardaí are currently investigating the death of a man, 71, that occurred on farmland in Ballinderry, Enfield, Co Meath on Thursday 5 May. The body was discovered at approximately 9.30pm and the man's death was pronouned at the scene.
The Gardaí told the Irish Farmers Journal that the man's body was found under a quad bike which was submerged in water.
It is understood the man was driving the quad bike when it overturned.

The body was subsequently taken to Navan morgue for a postmortem examination. The scene is currently being preserved and the Health and Safety Authority have been notified.
This is the fifth farm death in 2016 and the fourth involving machinery.
Earlier this week a man, 65, died in an accident on a farm in the Ballylongford area in Kerry on Monday morning. It is understood the man was adjusting the rear stabiliser bars at the back of the tractor when it overturned and crushed him.
