We’re into September and a new month for the #OriginGreen #ItStartsHere Bord Bia photo competition. To celebrate Ploughing 2017 taking place in Co Offaly next week, Macra na Feirme is giving away a €200 prize for the best photo taken at the National Ploughing Championships that reflects sustainable farming or sustainability in some way.

The normal monthly competition will also run for September, with the winner announced at the end of the month. The winner of the August competition is Niamh Roche with a photo of her dog Henry relaxing on barley straw bales in Cork. Please send your entries to jcoffey@macra.ie
