Good-quality, heavy heifers consistently sold from 350p to 405p/kg, with 618kg making £2,500 and 620kg going for £2,450.
Those suited to more feeding made slightly higher prices per kg, with a run from 370p to 425p/kg and top prices to 502p/kg, paid for a 412kg animal at £2,070.
In the bullock ring, 110 animals were offered, with forward stores consistently selling for 350p to 427p/kg, with the top prices per kg being a 520kg bullock at £2,200 (427p/kg) and 502kg at £2,130 (424p/kg).
