The well-established Kells Suffolk flock owned by Eamonn Duffy in Kells, Co Meath is hosting its fourth on-farm sale (Eircode: A82N278) on Saturday 25 October.

The sale, which takes place at 2pm, is being conducted by Ballyjamesduff Livestock Mart while online bidding will be available via the MartEye online sales platform.

Lot 10 is sired by the well-renowned Kells T-Rex who bred lambs to €33,000.

There are 60 pedigree Suffolk in-lamb hoggets and ewe lambs and a consignment of sheep from Molloy Suffolks.

Two sheep have been singled out for special mention – lot 10 which is sired by the well-renowned Kells T-Rex who bred lambs to €33,000, from a ewe by the €12,000 Crewelands Frontline and in lamb to Islandmoyle Dapper.

The second is lot 22 which is described as a ‘modern-style Suffolk’. She is sired by Kilduff Bouncer/Tommy and a ewe purchased from Bessiebell. She is in lamb to Cregmore Dare to Dream – reserve champion at the All-Ireland Championships in June and purchased from Barney Carroll’s Cregmore Flock for €6,500.
