Lismacool Trump 435, bred by Padraig Flanagan and family in Co Roscommon left the mainland this week, destined for his new home on Inis Mór, off the coast of Galway.
Born in February 2025, Trump is a son of Brickeens Smasher out of the Clounmaccon Diablo-bred cow, Ballyea Redy 283.
The young Shorthorn bull, which was reserve intermediate all-Ireland bull calf champion at Strokestown Show in 2025, was acquired by Steven Hernon and family to run with their herd of Charolais-cross cows and heifers.

Commenting on the sale, Padraig said: “It’s quite unique to sell a bull to the Aran Islands, I really hope he does a great job for Steven and family.”
