Co Meath farm on track to exceed €1.7m guide price
A large Co Meath residential farm was offered for public auction before Christmas with most of the lots sold. It is on track to exceed it's pre-sale guide price, reports Tommy Moyles.
The residential farm at Clondalee More, Hill Of Down, Ballivor, Co Meath, mostly sold at public auction before Christmas with one lot still under negotiation.

A 264ac residential farm on the border between Meath and Westmeath is on track to exceed its pre-sale guide price by €200,000 with all bar one lot selling at auction just before Christmas.
Guided in the region of €1.4m to €1.5m, the land block at Clondalee More, Hill of Down, Ballivor, Co Meath is a combination of grassland and forestry and is likely to sell for in excess of €1.7m once the final discussions have concluded.
Mullingar-based James L Murtagh Auctioneers handled the auction which took place on Friday 19 December in the Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar and online on the LSL Auctions platform.

Lot one, the house and 66ac, was opened at €500,000 before being withdrawn from auction at €570,000. A 29ac grassland parcel was offered on lot three and was withdrawn at €250,000 while there were no bids at auction for lot four. All three lots were sold following the auction while negotiations were ongoing on lot two, 153ac of forestry.
