TAMS approval rates inevitably slowed down over the Christmas period with DAFM staff on leave, with just a 3% rise seen since figures were published on 15 December.
A total of 697 applications remain to be processed out of a total of 5,364 submitted, with 5% of applications (283) rejected so far, while a further 1.6% (87) have been withdrawn from the application process.
The Tillage Capital Investment Scheme (TCIS) has seen all eligible applications approved, though the rejection rate is close to twice that of the normal at 9%, while the Solar Capital Investment Scheme (SCIS) has seen just 61% of applications approved to date.

A total of 142 applications remain in progress from tranche 6, while 45 applications from the emergency tranche 7 remain in progress.
