A 15c/kg increase in hogget quotes by Kepak Athleague and Kildare Chilling has moved their base quotes to €5.00/kg and €5.10/kg respectively, while Ballon Meats and Moyvalley Meats have also moved their all-in quote to €5.00/kg.

A high percentage of sellers are now securing €5.05/kg to €5.15/kg, with regular sellers securing €5.20/kg to €5.25/kg through bonus payments.

Supplies of slaughter-fit hoggets tightened further, increasing mart prices by €2 to €3/hd.
