The new Musso Grand is SsangYong’s entry to the fast-growing and highly competitive pickup market. Following the Musso, SsangYong is introducing the long-bodied Musso Grand with a larger deck area and enhanced load capacity. Built in Korea, the Musso Grand shares the same architecture as the new Rexton and Musso.

The pickup combines a five-seat crew-cab body style with a 1,262l capacity load deck. Ssangyong says this is large enough to carry a Euro pallet. It also comes equipped with 12V/120W power outlets, and rotating hooks to help strap down loads such as tools and equipment.

The Musso Grand is powered by the same 2.2l turbo diesel (e-XDi220) engine as found in the Rexton and Musso. The in-house built powertrain delivers a maximum power of 181ps at 4,000rpm and a maximum torque of 400Nm at 1,400-2,800rpm. It is available with either a six-speed manual or an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission.
