A pair of sizeable farms in the north of Leinster will be sold by public auction next week. One has the ruins of a house and old farm buildings, which could be renovated.
Over 40,000 machinery enthusiasts and 2,500 active bidders took part in a Tipperary contractors’ online retirement dispersal auction, where 134 lots were offered with the sale grossing €1.4m.
A 2016 John Deere 6155R Ultimate Edition with 5,800 hours secured €60,000 plus VAT and fees, topping the auction of a retiring Carlow tillage farmer last week.
