Henry O'Toole in Co Galway

Henry O’Toole from Clifden, Co Galway with his sons Michael, Henry and daughter Emma. The family farm sheep and horses in west Galway, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Henry runs a herd of Lanark rams and is also an established Connemara pony breeder. \ Philip Doyle

Michael O'Brien in Co Kildare

Michael O'Brien (left) is a tillage farmer from Ardmore, Athy, Co Kildare. Having previously harvested his crop of winter barley, Mihael has now begun started a hybrid fodder crop of redstart rape and kale. He has decided to plant the crop on account of the lack of fodder which has led to the rise in fodder prices. After harvesting the winter barley, Michael disked the field, sowed the crop with a direct drill and then rolled it all in.
