John has been an integral part of the Irish country scene over the last decade. His life on the circuit has taken him to the UK on numerous occasions as well as to the USA. He has also been to Spain, Portugal and other places.

John has his sights set on trips to the USA and Canada as well as a Mediterranean cruise, all in the second half of this year.

He is among the many artists who will perform on the Gertie Byrne Mediterranean Cruise from 28 August to 4 September.

“I’ve been fortunate to do several of her Caribbean Cruises in recent years so it will be nice to do one nearer home this time," he says. "The point of departure and return is Barcelona and there are also stop-offs at ports in France, Italy and Monaco. Cliff Richard is the head-line act for this cruise and it should be another very special occasion for the 2,000 or so patrons on board.”

From Foreglen near Dungiven, John is very comfortable on stage and always delivers top performances. His current album, Love Songs, is a compilation featuring 21 songs selected from his six studio albums.
