A 30ac grassland farm on the outskirts of Newport, Co Tipperary is heading for auction at the end of July. Brought to the market by REA John Lee, the auction will be held in their offices at Main St, Newport at 3pm on Wednesday, 31 July.

A little over 1km south west of the town, the lands have extensive road frontage and are conveniently laid out in five fields.

They have been developed well in recent years. A central roadway was installed providing very good access and there are excellent cattle handling facilities on the property with a private water supply and mains electricity.

Re-seeded

The farm was also recently re-seeded and has stock-proof fencing around all boundaries. It is guided between €10,000 and €12,000/ac.

Describing this farm, auctioneer, James Lee says: “This is one of the best parcels of land to come on the market in the area in recent years in an ideal location and suitable for any farming enterprise.”
