Outlook: “Trading conditions will be tough for the short-/medium-term with rising organic feed prices, increased supply of organic milk and unknown trade deals. We continue to focus on cost of production and increasing efficiency whilst continuing to increase sales through our on-farm vending machines.

Why organic: “We went organic in 2000 and we were at the crossroads where we either got bigger or go down the niche market. And we decided to go down the niche market and it was absolutely the right choice. There’s been peaks and troughs of course.

Business during snow: “We’ve just a launched an on-farm vending machine so we had milk. We were able to supply people who didn’t have milk so we were very busy. It was great. We got our second vending machine put in the day of the beast.”
