Swiss-based bakery group Aryzta has acquired the Danish pastry company Mette Munk.

The deal is believed to worth in the region of €50m. Mette Munk is based in Odense, the third largest city in Denmark and produces pastries for the domestic Danish market as well as frozen products for export. This will give Aryzta access to the Scandinavian market.
