Following the last-minute postponement of the auction of a well-located 24-acre non-residential parcel of land at Farranlahassery, Cahir, Co Tipperary, last week, selling agent John FitzGerald from Dougan FitzGerald Auctioneers, Clonmel has rescheduled the auction for 22 June.
The land, which is less than a mile from Cahir on the main N24 Clonmel-Cahir route, is currently nurturing a fine crop of spring barley. Described as “the best of ground”, it is set out in two fields and has a small section of frontage on to the N24.
It will be offered for sale in one lot on 22 June at 3pm in Cahir House Hotel. A guide of €11,500 to €12,000/acre is quoted.
