Championship games are kicking off this weekend across the rebel county, which should give Cork supporters a lift following a very narrow defeat to Clare in the all-Ireland final.
However, I’m told the club is where the heart is and I’m sure whoever takes home Cork’s Seán Óg Murphy cup this year will soon forget that sad day in July.
