I see that Dairygold was taken to task by the EPA over strong smells emanating from its Mallow plant. Several complaints were made to the EPA, which Dairygold says were limited to the peak milk delivery period of May.

The Dealer hears that the plant’s waste management system took some time to adjust to the load it had to deal with. Meanwhile, Dairygold has submitted the further information requested by Cork County Council in relation to its Mogeely plant. A decision is expected by late August.
