Carbery Macra na Feirme titles night takes place on Saturday 13 February in the Clonakilty GAA function room in Ahamilla. Four titles will be up for grabs on the night: Mr Personality, Blue Jean Country Queen, Miss Macra and Queen of the Land. Contestants will take part in private interviews with a panel of judges during the day before taking to the stage from 8.30pm to show off their talents in front of an audience. All are welcome to what promises to be a very entertaining night.
Kinsale Macra presents a night of drama in Ballinspittle Community Hall on Saturday 20 February starting at 8pm. Admission is €10. Tickets are available from Centra Ballinspittle or from any member of Kinsale Macra. Two one-act plays will be performed on the night by Kinsale Macra members: ‘‘The Fear’’ by Kinsale member Eoin O’Donovan and ‘‘A Galway Girl’’ by Geraldine Aron. All are welcome on the night.
Get Fit with Aghinagh Macra on Thursday nights at the new time of 9pm to 10pm in the Aghinagh GAA hall in Rusheen. It is free for all Macra members and only €4 for non-Macra members. It’s a great way to keep fit and a bit of fun too. It is suitable for all fitness levels and ages. For more details, see Aghinagh Macra’s Facebook page or contact Jayne on 087-749 5851.
Kildare Macra is hosting a county fundraiser quiz in Grace’s Pub, Naas, at 8pm on Thursday 25 February. Teams of four can enter for €10 per person. There will be spot prizes on the night also.
