22 November: Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven will be back on the big screen for their next adventure. The story follows the characters as they leave Arendelle to travel to an ancient, autumn-bound forest of an enchanted land. The aim of this voyage is to find the origin of Elsa’s powers in order to save their kingdom. If the soundtrack is anything like the first movie’s, it’s sure to be full of belters. Starring Kristen Bell, Jason Ritter and Evan Rachel Wood with original songs and story by Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
Pat Shortt Hey
23 November: Pat Shortt will play the Thomastown Community Centre, Co Kilkenny, on 23 November in his new live show Hey. The D’Unbelievables and Killinaskully comedian will be on a solo tour of Ireland with plenty of opportunities to see him perform. Crowman
23 November: Starring Jon Kenny as Dan Loughran, Crowman is set to play in the Corn Mill Theatre, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim, on 23 November. The play is an account of the hilarious characters in Dan’s life, portrayed on a daily basis and an almost love story. Go on a rollercoaster ride from childhood to middle-age, hurling pitch to the pub and from one character to another. It is about lost love and the feeling of belonging and not belonging in a small community. Relate with the local characters that are in every rural village and town in Ireland. Tickets cost €20. Don Baker
22 November: Don Baker will play the Ramor Theatre, Virginia, Co Cavan, on 22 November at 8pm. Don has starred opposite Daniel Day-Lewis, headlined with Tom Jones and Van Morrison and has had his songs recorded by numerous artists. He has toured at home and abroad for 50 years and the current tour is going around Ireland with a few gigs left. Don is even Bono’s favourite harmonica player and is a true entertainer. Sligo Sings
23 November: Sligo Sings is part of an ongoing mission to get all of Sligo singing and will be on 23 November in the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo town. It will feature new choirs alongside some of the existing Sligo Sing choirs. This has now become an annual event and is a huge celebration of Sligo choir achievements. It’s considered as uplifting as it is entertaining. Tickets cost €16 and the event starts at 8pm. Proceeds are in aid of the Hawk’s Well Theatre Renovation Fund.
