1 Attyflin Estate Rosette
Apple Juice
If you’re an apple juice-loving family, this is going to be right up your street. Attyflin is an historic 250ac estate near Patrickswell, Co Limerick. Here, they produce multi award-winning ‘bud to bottle’ natural fruit juices, preserves, and chutneys. They have now released the 2024 season limited edition run of their signature Irish Rosette Apple Juice.
This cold-pressed juice is the only one of its kind to be produced in Ireland; made exclusively using the Rosette apple – a unique variety with a distinctive deep-red skin and marbled flesh. This apple is lovingly grown across Attyflin’s 10ac of orchards, which are also home to additional nine varieties of apples. The flavour of this juice is really distinctive and would make a great addition to a Christmas morning mimosa.

2 Martry Mill stoneground wholemeal flour
Martry Mill stoneground wholemeal flour.
Martry Mill is a family-run watermill located along the banks of the River Blackwater in Co Meath. It is one of the few working watermills in Ireland, having survived famines, wars, floods and pandemics. The Tallon family has been producing stoneground wholemeal flour in the mill since 1859, and in 2024 the mill continues to flourish. Martry Mill supplies bakeries, supermarkets and shops around Meath and surrounding counties with wholemeal flour. We love how well it bakes into brown bread loaves, but additionally, its wholesome, naturally nutty flavour pairs very well with banana bread.

3 Garryhinch Wood Exotic Mushrooms
Garryhinch Mushrooms.
Garryhinch Mushrooms, farmed by Joe and Dolores Gorman in Co Offaly, specialise in the exotic varieties of mushroom you might not see every day. These award-winning, certified organic mushrooms are grown on the banks of the River Barrow. Garryhinch serves the food service industry in Ireland, as well as supplying directly to supermarkets, restaurants and farmers markets. Their range of mushrooms aren’t just interesting in look - they are very delicious. We were particularly impressed with the flavour of their shitake and white beech mushrooms; each bite a rich umami bomb, requiring little more than some salt and pepper. Joe and Dolores also grow king oyster, grey oyster, yellow oyster, forest nameko, maitake and lion’s mane ‘shrooms.

5 Arán’s Magic Sauce
Arán's Magic Sauce.
One of our favourite Kilkenny bistros and bakeries has also branched out into the retail sector, with the product launch of its signature “Magic Sauce”. This Korean-inspired sauce has been a mainstay on the Arán Kilkenny menu since owners Nicole and Bart first opened its doors in 2019, elevating all manner of brunch dishes over the years and gaining many admirers along the way. We think the sauce strikes the perfect balance between sweet and spicy, pairing well with roast pork belly, jammy eggs, chicken wings or in an egg fried rice.
You can find the sauce in select SuperValus or in speciality food shops.
