Gardaí in Cahir, Co Tipperary, have stopped a tractor carrying an unsecured load of scrap metal.
The load contained a large steel bar, which was protruding from the rear and was considered a high risk to traffic, especially if a collision had occurred.

According to the Road Safety Authority, "loads must be secured even if the vehicle is only travelling a short distance or at low speeds".
