Kerry Group has set its milk price for May supplies at 28.94c/l excluding VAT.
Based on average May milk solids supplied by farmers, the price to farmers inclusive of VAT and bonuses is 32.62c/l (30.94c/l excusive of VAT), a spokesman said.
It follows Glanbia in holding milk price for May.
Ornua’s purchase price index (PPI) rose by 1.3% in May, to return a farmgate price of 30.5c/l excluding VAT.
