The annual LAMMA (Lincolnshire Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association) machinery show will moveto a new location at the NEC (National Event Centre) near Birmingham airport for January 2019. According to the event’s organisers, just under three-quarters of the stand space has been booked. Group events director at AgriBriefing Ltd Elisabeth Mork-Eidem said: “The combination of the NEC’s indoor, modern and professional halls and thousands of visitors looking to invest in equipment and services has created a lot of interest, so much so that a number of halls are now nearly sold out. From the visitor research conducted at LAMMA over recent years, early January has proven to be a key time of year for decision making in farmers’ minds, with 55% of visitors describing themselves as key decision-makers and 30% looking to spend over £100,000 over the next 12 months”.
