Pöttinger Ireland will have machinery in two locations at this year’s Ploughing. There will be a selection of stubble cultivating equipment operating in the demo area, with static machinery on the Pöttinger stand.
Both grassland and tillage machinery will be present. Equipment that qualifies for TAMS grant aid will be prominent, with the Terradisc disc harrow and Tegosem airseeder on display.
The pneumatic Aerosem and Vitasem box drills can be paired with a Lion power harrow, a Fox compact disc harrow, a Terradisc disc harrow or a Synkro tine harrow depending on preference.
According to Diarmuid Claridge,general manager, Pöttinger Ireland Ltd, there will be a machine to suit all types of systems. On the grassland equipment side, there will be a silage wagon for the largest of operators – the tri-axle Jumbo 7210 loader wagon. This has a 40.1m3 capacity, steering rear axle, 710/45 R22.5 tyres and 45 knives for chopping. ISOBUS control and auto-knife sharpening are also available.
There will also be a Novacat A10 triple mower on display in combination with Alpha motion front mower. Features of this machine include precise ground contouring and a working width of 10.2m.
To complete the range, there will be a Top 702 twin-rotor rake, the Novacat 302 ED mounted conditioner mower and the six-rotor Hit 6.61 tedder.
