Vantage Ireland to show the latest in guidance technology
Vantage Ireland is Ireland’s authorised distributor for Trimble Precision Ag products. Vantage is set to bring three tractors all fully equipped with GPS and Autosteer to Oak Park on June 26.
The Trimble GFX-750 10in touchscreen display unit will be fitted in the tractors on the vantage Ireland stand.

GPS guidance and precision farming are becoming established across the country. There are many reasons for this, including financial savings, as well as fertiliser and chemical savings. A large number of farmers are making the move and retrofitting units to older machines that may not have been factory-fitted with this technology.
Irish Trimble distributor Vantage Ireland supplies a range of units depending on user requirements and budgets. On display at crops and Spreaders, Vantage will have three units set up and working on tractors.
A case Puma 150 and trailed Bredal spreader will be retrofitted with a Trimble GFX-750 10in touchscreen unit and Autopilot automated steering unit. A New Holland-mounted Rauch spreader will be equipped with a GFX-750 display, capable of variable rate section controlled spreading using Trimble’s TUVR protocol.

The third tractor is a guidance-ready JCB Fastrac 4220 and Rauch spreader. The tractor also features a GFX-750 display now with RTK and Isobus capabilities on board.
