SiloKing wowed at Agritechnica with its largest ever self-propelled diet feeder, the mammoth SelfLine 4.0 System 2000+.

With a 45m3 capacity, capable of feeding up to 320 cows per load, the new machine takes over from the 32m3 SelfLine System 1000+ 3225 model, which until now was the largest capacity self-propelled diet feeder built by Siloking.

The 45m3 triple auger tub is seated on a chassis, equipped with two front and two rear axles, all of which are steering. Three out of the four axles are driven hydrostatically.

The 2.3m milling head is capable of reaching the top of a 7m high pit face.

Power is provided by a substantial 510hp Volvo low speed concept engine. The technical permissible weight of the unit is 50t.

Loading arm

Up front, a 2.3m milling head and loading arm capable of reach to 7m high is responsible for loading the feeder.

Siloking has said that the SelfLine 4.0 System 2000+ is aimed at farms with 2,000 cows or more.
