The Department has initiated a procurement process for the supply, delivery and assembly of 400 cages to capture badgers.
These cages will be used as part of the bovine TB regionalisation project in the northwest.
The supplier must deliver the initial 400 cages no later than 31 May 2026 for the initial contract period.
The trap dimensions must be 40” (length) x 14” (height) x 14” (width).
The trap must have an open end at the front to accommodate a drop-down door.
