There was a smaller entry of cattle at Lisnaskea Livestock Mart this week.
Limited sale numbers had a positive effect on the trade. Buying demand was strong, with plenty of farmers competing for stock.
In the bullock ring, there were plenty of quality lots on show. The trade peaked at £1,030 for a 530kg Angus animal.
Continental cattle weighing 400kg to 500kg sold from £800 to £950.
Angus and Hereford cattle sold from £800 to £850 for animals at the same weight.
Heifers sold at a general price range of £850 to £950 for animals weighing 420kg to 500kg, with the top price of £960 paid for a 420kg Charolais animal.
Cows and calves sold to a top price of £1,170.
Weanlings sold to £890 for a 350kg Charolais bull, with heifers peaking at £860 for a 380kg Limousin animal.
